It was a nice surprise to realize that our tour to Monaco included a total of 4 New Yorkers. A mother and daughter were also on the tour from Long Island, which was very nice. Our tour guide, Marisol, was very sweet and spoke great English. On our way to Monaco she explained not only the view that we were seeing but also added some interesting facts about Nice and it’s history (which Jared truly enjoyed). She also stopped at various scenic over looks, which were absolutely stunning.
We stopped in the town of Eze, which consisted of interconnected streets going mostly up hill. We were surprised by how green and beautiful the gardens were and decided that they must water. From there we headed to the perfume factory. Tina already visited this factory when she was in Europe in the late 90’s. Not much in the perfume factory has changed, except for the focus on skin care products that were most likely not shown to Tina the first time because she was WAY to young for anti-aging at that time.
