A Sweet Ending for Nice

We showered up after our day at the beach and walked around the shopping district a little bit before dinner. Unfortunately, we hungry by the time it came to picking a restaurant. This is never a good combination because Tina likes to look at 50 menus that have local specialties and Jared just wants to eat.

We settled on Le Frog, ordered a glass of wine and a couple of pasta dishes. Jared ordered linguini and clam sauces. The clams were sweet and delicious, but unfortunately about a half dozen did not open. Tina ordered a pasta dish with vegetables and shrimp. It was very well flavored and cooked to perfection; the only draw back was that it was flavored with various Asian spices and the noodles were similar to Ramen. We both enjoyed our meals and agreed that if we were home we would be content, but we didn’t feel as if it was authentic to the area. Jared wanted to go to an English Pub. Tina later admitted that the burgers did look good.

We couldn’t end our stay in Nice on that note, so we decided to take advantage of our terrace and the wonderful view it had at night. We stopped and got a bottle of wine, some pastries, and chocolates. It was truly a sweet end to the night.
